Express appointments let you book an online consultation with a healthcare practitioner as soon as they're available.
With express appointments, it's easier for you to access consultations for quick services like repeat prescriptions, medical certificates or referral requests. If your usual practitioner is fully booked, express appointments also help you see another available practitioner in the same practice.
Express appointments save you time by connecting you with a practitioner without the need to schedule in advance. All you need to do is request an appointment, and you’ll be notified when it’s your turn!
Note
Express appointments require prepayment, allowing you to secure your spot in advance for high-demand services.

Open your practitioner's online booking page or find them in the Halaxy directory.

On the Express Appointments tab, click the service you want to book.

The practice advises you of their estimated wait time. Click Continue.

Fill in your details then click Submit. If the practice has Terms & Conditions, make sure to click the link and read them for their attendance or cancellation policies.

Enter your payment details, then click Pay. Your booking request will be confirmed.

The practice contacts you for your consultation.

For video consultation: The practice will send you an email or SMS with your consultation link. Join the call as soon as possible so you can be ready when a practitioner becomes available.

For phone consultations: The practitioner will call you on the number you provided in your details. Keep your phone close by so you don't miss it!
